About The Event
Asset tracing is the process of identifying and locating assets owned by an individual or entity, typically in the context of financial investigations, fraud recovery, or legal disputes. Recovering assets not only prevents criminals from benefiting from their illicit activities but also removes capital from the criminal economy, thereby reducing the potential for funding further criminal endeavors. A significant portion of the funds recovered is returned to law enforcement agencies as an incentive for continued asset recovery efforts and to help further reduce crime.
In this Masterclass, you will learn how to build a successful asset recovery case from the initial stage, starting from the establishment of predication to the identification and quantification of losses. You will progress through the development of an asset tracing and recovery strategy, ultimately leading to trial preparation. Practical examples and case studies will be utilized to provide participants with useful tools for these cases.
